A few things:

I renamed my LJ/DW, after the better part of a decade. It's now lupagreenwolf, not lupabitch. Just didn't fit any more. Did the same thing to my Twitter, just because.

The woods that raised me have been completely destroyed.

While trying to distract myself temporarily from the pain from that, I wrote a rant about coming out of any closet, including the broom closet, and the privilege inherent in that act.

I like the new name a lot, I think it really suits you.

I was very sad to hear of the loss of your woods. When you've become attached to a part of nature, you develop a relationship with the spirits of the plants and the trees. They become your friends. They teach you a lot about life, nature, spirituality. It's devastating to lose that. I'm sorry that you're woods have been destroyed. :(
