My name’s Rachel and I run an animal shelter in Edinburgh which works mostly with “small furries” such as rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, rats etc.
Recently I’ve been very ill with hyperemesis and for several months now I’ve been practically bedridden and unable to work. Because there are just a few of us volunteers, my absence has badly affected the shelter, which is now struggling to survive.

I'm not on Ravelry, but I did find their website. Even if you can't knit, or aren't wanting to send stuff overseas, you can still donate via Paypal. And yes, every little bit counts.
