First of all, this is exactly what Portland needs--a Steampunk Film Festival! The organizers are fundraising right now, and need $1200 by Saturday, January 8 to make this thing happen next February! A $15 donation gets you your admission, but anything helps.
Also, there's still plenty of room in post for artists and other creative sorts to talk about what it is they do and how you can get your money into the hands of individuals instead of big box corporate stores that suck money out of communities! There's also a Livejournal version with even MORE people! And if you haven't added your info here or there, go right ahead!
And, more personally, the 25% off sale on select Immanion/Megalithica nonfic titles is still going on, and if you missed it, my latest artwork update went up last night.
So there. Now you have more excuses to buy local/individual :) Go to it!
