Yes, folks, it's time for another artwork update! Remember that javelina headdress I mentioned not too long ago? It's in here, along with a wolf tooth and bone necklace, a whole bunch of earrings, and plenty more! As always, prices don't include shipping, animal parts may only be shipped in the US, everything is ritually purified and part of the proceeds go to various animal-based non-profits such as the Defenders of Wildlife and Wolf Haven International, layaway IS available, and everything may be found on my website and my Etsy shop! And, of course, if you don't find what you're looking for here, I do take custom work.

Materials: Javelina hide, leather, javelina teeth, ceramic button
Description: I couldn't believe my luck when I managed to get my hands on a vintage javelina shoulder mount; the last time I had anything similar was a European boar mount back in 2005. Not only was I able to rescue the hide, but also the javelina's own teeth, which were set into the mount! I've made this into a really neat headdress. I had to replace the nose since the original disintegrated, but there's a nice leather replacement. I also re-attached the upper tusks, and one of the incisors dangles from a ceramic button with a stylized boar on it on the right side of the neck. Leather straps will tie under the chin to hold this surprisingly lightweigh headdress in place. It will need some special care since it is an older hide; be particularly careful of the ears, which are delicate. I have not treated the hide, because some people dislike the greasiness of some leather treatment, but if you choose you can condition the skin side of the hide. It won't make it stronger, but it should help it last longer. This is a rare find, so if this calls to you, bring it home while you can! A good piece for ritual work and totemic dance at pagan festivals.

The handle is wrapped in brown deerskin and red yarn, with tassels at the end. It has a nice, sharp rattle, and the bells are a nice complement! A really nice piece.

And, as always, word of mouth makes the world go 'round, so if you know anyone who may be interested, please feel free to pass this on! Thank you :)

Turtle pouch is my favorite of this batch. The speckling goes perfectly with the bead and leather...especially the bead. Calm moon balances out the aggression in the species. It'd probably be snagged by someone soon, but hopefully a new one appears after I get some xmas money to blow XD
