COOKIE!!!!!

I promised
smcinpdx chocolate chip cookies a couple of nights ago--and then promptly forgot. The poor guy's been in bed sick all day, and he finally ventured out a little before midnight. One of the first things he asked for as he stumbled into full consciousness was cookies.
Happy to oblige, I decided to just make a couple of BIG cookies for the fun of it. So I did a basic chocolate chip cookie recipe with some walnuts tossed in, and ended up with a pair of very tasty, very chewy and soft (but just a little crispy around the edges) cookies!
Cooking in general is art that you get to eat--or, as quoted in Questionable Content, "Baking is science for hungry people".
