I've been following the progress, with joy for the cat and fury for the owners. I betcha they would take Clark back in a heartbeat if they knew he was better and the bills all paid.
I got one of my ferrets (now long across the Bridge) that way...he was found staggering in a gutter in town. He was hypothermic and nearly blind from the bright winter sunlight (he was albino) and of course, starving. With care and food, he made a complete recovery and led quite a joyful woozily life for several years.
