Thank you. I needed the simple joy of Walt Kelly's humor today. My late father loved Pogo, and owned most of the earliest Kelly collections. I grew up reading them like they were comic books, literally from the time I could read at all. (My mother wouldn't let me bring a copy of Superman into the house, but Pogo was acceptable reading for a seven-year-old. Go figure.)
And so I'll respond with another, less well-known Crispness song from the Okeefenokee, as best I can remember it, anyway:
Good King Sauerkraut looked out On his feets unevens. While the snoo lay round about All kerchoo acheivin'...
I did not know that there was a complete Pogo collection out. Now my heart is singing and my wallet is groaning in anticipation. Probably some time next year, after the Around-The-Winter-Solstice-Holiday Insanity dies down. Thanks.

The new complete collection of Pogo that Fantagraphics just published is high o my want list, though I love the old original collections, too.
