Made some more stuff since the Steampunk Scavenger--wanted to show it off :) As always, prices don't include shipping, wildlife parts can't be sent internationally, layaway is available, and everything can be found on Etsy!

Materials: Rabbit fur, yarn
Pouch dimensions: 3" x 3 3/4"
Necklace cord length (each): 15"
Description: The fur for this pouch came from a pretty vintage gray rabbit fur coat. I backed the fur in some of the coat's fabric for added strength, and the cords are secondhand gray wool yarn that I hand-braided. Excellent for carrying a variety of small, sacred things!
Price: $12.00

Materials: Rabbit fur, yarn
Pouch dimensions: 4 1/2" x 5"

Price: $10.00

Materials: Rabbit fur, yarn
Pouch dimensions: 5 3/4" x 6"
Description: The pure white fur of this pouch made from vintage rabbit fur from a coat is matched by the white wool braided yarn drawstrings. The fur is backed in vintage fabric from the coat for added strength, perfect for holding a smaller tarot deck, rune set, sacred stones, and more!
Price: $13.00

Materials: Leather, crystal fox fur, yarn
Pouch dimensions: 6 1/2" x 8"
Strap length: 33"
Description: This pretty pouch or purse is made from brown leather from an old jacket, and the face from a crystal fox hide salvaged from the fur trade. Even the strap is recycled, made from braided secondhand yarn. A good size for a tarot deck or rune set, smaller wallet and phone, even medicine and other necessities.
Price: $23.00

Materials: Vintage leopard cat fur, deerskin, bobcat claw, yarn
Pouch dimensions: 8 1/2" x 9"
Strap length: 44"
Description: Leopard (Panthera pardus) fur is illegal to trade in in the US, even pre-CITES; however, the Asian leopard cat (Prionailurus bengalensis) is one of the few spotted cats whose fur may be bought, sold and bartered. Never fear, though--I'm not out hunting wild kitties! The fur for this pouch came from a vintage coat. I lined the fur with fabric from the same coat for additional strength, and decorated the foldover flap with deerskin and a bobcat claw. The slender but strong cord is made from secondhand brown yarn that I hand-braided.
This fur is VERY hard to come by, and I used a pretty big single piece to make this roomy pouch. So grab it while you can!
Price: $70.00

I've had this idea for a while, and finally made time to sit down and paint these out! Just as the Mane Six in the show represent the elements of harmony, so I wanted to make ponies for the four classical elements of alchemy and other magic! Each pony is fully repainted, and each has the alchemical symbol for her element as her cutie mark. They'd be great for display, but would also make whimsical representations of the elements on your altar!
Earth is a repainted Sweetie Blue (Applejack mold); she's dark brown with a multi-shade green mane and tail, and light brown for her eyes, cutie mark, and ties in her hair. Air is a repainted Sugar Grape (Rainbow Dash mold); she's white with silver and gray hair, and her eyes are gray with silver sclera (since white on white wouldn't work). Fire is a repainted Firecracker Burst (Twilight Sparkle mold); she's bright red with yellow and copper hair, and copper for her cutie mark and eyes. Water is a repainted Flower Wishes (Pinkie Pie mold); she's sky blue with white, teal, and royal blue hair, a white cutie mark, and teal eyes.
Each is just shy of 2" tall--these are the little ones! All four are painted in acrylics over primer with several coats of sealant for protection; they are NOT recommended as toys for children. They are being sold as a set only--if you would like any of them recreated individually please contact me about custom work.
Price for the set of four: $40

Materials: Elk hide, elk antler, waxed linen cord, wood beads, acrylic paint
Pouch dimensions: 5 3/4" x 5"
Strap length: 35"
Description: I had a beautiful, soft piece of elk hide left over from a larger project, and it was just the right size to make into a larger tarot-sized pouch. The foldover flap features a lovely slice of elk antler with waxed cord and secondhand wood bead tassels. I braided more of the cord to create a slender but strong strap for carrying or hanging the pouch. It's finished with a bit of detailing with acrylic paint around the edge of the flap. It's a good size for just about any tarot deck with room for little crystals and other such things, or a rune or ogam set, or other small sacred items.
Price: $23.00

Materials: Dried horse tail, leather, deer antler
Tail length: 53"
Belt length: 87"
Pouch dimensions: 5 1/2" x 6 1/2"
Description: This is by far the prettiest horse tail I've ever worked with! Cleaned and reshaped and brushed out but still wild, it's an incredibly long two-toned black and white paint horse tail, almost as long as I am tall! While you could trim it, I'd recommend just cleaning it after wearing it so you can let the beautiful long hair can trail like a train.
I put it on an extra-long braided black leather leather belt with two matching belt pouches--a LOT of leather went into this set. It took more work than the usual fox and coyote tails, since I couldn't just stitch through the thick, tough hide under the hair. But the belt is on securely and should last a long time.
The pouches have matching slices of whitetail deer antler as their toggles, and they're roomy enough to accommodate all kinds of things--keys, wallet, cell phone, and more! Perfect for the festival scene!
A truly deluxe set--don't expect one like this any time soon, so get it while you can!
Price: $200/set

Materials: Red fox skin, leather
Description: This is an absolutely beautifully colored red fox hide that I salvaged from a life as a wall hanger and made into a headdress! His face was pretty badly mangled, but I reshaped it and removed a bunch of cartilage from inside his nose, and now other than a few little "character marks" he looks pretty good!
He measures 42" from tip of nose to tip of tail (he doesn't have feet). He's light enough that he can just be worn with chinstraps. He'd be a most excellent hide for dancing and ritual, and his spirit indicated a particular interest in this sort of work. Are you the one to be his dance partner?
Price: $100

Materials: Cross fox skin, leather
Description: This might be one of the very best fox headdresses I've made! I started with a soft, sweet cross fox hide; he had a little damage to his muzzle (a few tiny holes) but was otherwise in nice condition. I reshaped his face and ears, patched the holes with a bit of black leather, and added chin straps. He's nicely lightweight so he can be worn for dancing and ritual for hours without causing neck strain, and he measures 38" from tip of nose to tip of tail. A very unique headdress, and a spirit ready for anything!
Price: $130

Materials: Wolf skin, deerskin, yarn, coyote teeth, ceramic pendant
Description: Wow. I think this is the absolute prettiest-colored wolf I've ever worked with! Bought from a reputable wholesaler, this Canadian hide is a beautiful creamy white with golden-red shading and deep black grizzling. A truly golden wolf! I reshaped his head and opened his eyes so he may safely be worn as either a headdress or a mask.
He had a bare patch right between his shoulders, so I hand-stitched a piece of golden buckskin over it. For additional decoration, I added a handmade gray ceramic wolf pendant, two real coyote canine teeth, and a long tassel of yarn, some vintage and some homespun, in colors that matched his coat. His tail also had a short length near the end where the fur was all gone, so I added yarn there as well to cover it and create an accent. And although nothing was wrong with his head, he wanted long yarn tassels there too, so I indulged him.
Even without his legs, this wolf is almost too big for me to wear--a monstrous 77" from tip of nose to tip of tail! He'll still fit just about any adult (I'm 5'4" and 115 pounds, just for scale). He has strong black deerskin straps to tie him on at the chin, chest, and legs, distributing his weight evenly so he may be worn more comfortably.
He is a truly magnificent sight, definitely one of a kind, and the pictures don't do him justice. He would love to be someone's special ritual partner and dancing skin
Price: $650
