So can we quit talking about Arizona now? (Oh, by the way, in case you were wondering about one of the actual victims, instead of snipping at people of different politics than your own or making conjecture about the shooter, Rep. Giffords is on the right track to recovery.)

over 500 have died in flooding in Brazil, a large portion of Australia is still under water, and to say there is civil unrest in Tunisia would be an understatement. Also, a hundred people died in a stampede in India.

Oh, and did anyone notice that Sudan is in the process of becoming two countries?

Here. China is going to install 10 million electric vehicle recharging parking spots by 2020, a potential breakthrough in preventing death from lung inflammation, and a piece of news about the ongoing work in developing a vaccine against HIV.

Oh, and hey, writers--here's an opportunity I ganked off my DW f-list:

Good to hear she's on the mend.

In other news, I'm really, really digging this electric parking idea. Too bad it'll never happen here :P

Gee, so it isn't just me tired of the pious on and on-ing? You'd think the rest of the world didn't exist or something.

I'm glad she's on the mend. The Tucson thing happens to be very personal for us though, since we lived there for several years, and one of the killed staffers went to high school with my partner. So yeah, not going to stop talking about it...

So vampire/werewolf is now its own genre, instead of being lumped into fantasy?

I refuse to support this categorization that singles out these two races unfairly.

This is your fault Twilight! >:O
