Jan. 23rd, 2011 06:43 pmSo recently I discovered Old Portland Hardware and Architecture down at SE Division and 41st. In addition to making me wish even harder that I owned a house, it also made me wish I had a talent for steampunk-style jewelry and other art--because this place is a friggin' treasure trove of antique gears and other awesome things to make into other things, at really reasonable prices! If you make anything steampunkish, I really can't recommend this place enough!
I took a few pics; most weren't very good, because my phone camera wasn't being cooperative, but there are a few under the cut:

Giant birdcage full of even more of these things

Even more stuff, including old surveying equipment, etc.

And Terrence the Hyena, sort of an unofficial store mascot. How did he get a whitetail antler, anyway?
