Materials: Wolf fur, leather, ceramic buttons, yarn

Description: I started with a large black wolf head. I cleaned up the eyes and lips and painted in some detailing (note--it is NOT usable as a mask!), and reshaped the ears. I added a panel of black leather with grey leather accenting, and decorated it further with ceramic pawprint buttons made by a local artisan which I hand painted in black and silver. I also made yarn tassels for additional decoration. Finally, I added leather straps to tie the headdress on under the chin. One of my better headdresses!

Price: $125.00

Materials: Wolf skin, leather, vintage brass bells, wool yarn

Description: This is by far the BIGGEST wolf hide I've ever laid hands on! It's 81" long from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail, and at 5'4" I'm probably about the smallest person who could wear it (and it would fit someone taller more neatly, as you can probably guess from the pictures!). When I got it the front paws were pretty well destroyed, but the back ones are intact. I fixed the ears and added detailing to the eyes and lips; there were also a LOT of small holes in the hide, which I spent a couple of hours stitching up. I also added straps at the chin, shoulders, arms and ankles to keep the skin tied on while dancing. To add to all this, I decorated the hide with over a dozen antique brass bells and handmade tassels of white wool yarn that I made. This is an incredibly impressive wolf that the pictures do little justice to! Would be a really, really nice hide for shamanic work, too!

Price: $800.00

And, as always, word of mouth is love--feel free to share this post with anyone you think may be interested--thank you!

So many beauties! I'd be into that big wolf skin if I wasn't having to re-build a bathroom this year. But who knows, fortune may smile upon me...it may be there for me to layaway at some point!

I'm interested in both the black beads and the lynx pouch. How often do you come across wildcat bits?

I can pay ten now and the rest next week.

Wow, that deer tail is super cool. Do you happen to know which species it's from?

Do you ever get elk tails? I've been looking for one for a few months, and while it's not urgent, I haven't seen a single one available online.

I was wondering about that! I have a full hide and her tail is teensy, so I was half thinking they'd trimmed it at the tannery. For such a huge animal, that is just not much tail.

Thanks. :D
